Confidence: Awareness
New confidence is one of the 12 building blocks of a home that is springing with life. New confidence is the result of increased awareness. Our confidence in His purposeful activity in the world is solidified as our attentiveness is heightened. God Himself, through the prophet Isaiah asks, “I am doing a new thing. Do you not see it?” As we begin a new year with all of its hopes and dreams, we begin with this simple prayer, “Lord God, quicken our awareness. Let us become adept at seeing what you are doing. This year, would you assist us in becoming familiar with your work, your provision, your presence. We know that this is the foundation of homes springing with life. And we desire this life in our homes. Amen.”
