Good Shepherd, part 2: Knows His Sheep
The crushing weight of guilt and shame was almost too much to bear. The abandonment of a friend in his greatest need was bad enough. But, then to deny that he even knew him? Could the relationship ever be restored? Or, is it just over...for good? Friends were meant to stick together. True friendship should endure even the most difficult challenges. Now, because of my frailty it’s over. There’s no hope of restoring it.
