What Is Grace, Part 1: Favor
More than “lending a helpful hand” or “pulling strings” or “playing favorites,” favor gives us a distinctly fresh angle to help us grasp grace. To say that God favors you is a game-changer! To comprehend that Jesus came to “proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor”? Now that it a home-building reality that will stand the test of time.

This 4-week series is centered on grace. Healthy homes are built on Grace and Truth. It’s important, therefore, that we define our terms. What is grace? This series runs throughout January, begins on Epiphany with the Introduction to the 2019 theme, and ends the Third Sunday after the Epiphany. The paraments begin white for The Baptism of Our Lord (Jan 06), and are green for the remainder of the Epiphany season.
