Why Work, part 3: Work Takes Work
My smartwatch reminds me occasionally to get up and move. I’ve apparently been stationary for too long. God has designed us to move. Just as God is active, so we are active. We work because He is working. And, because He is working our participation sometimes does involve good old fashioned work. Effort. Engagement. Exertion. Training. Production. Struggle. Application. Energy. Labor. We are a going people, a sent people. God’s work is to work. So is ours.
