Commitment, Part 1: Determination

God gave Nehemiah a desire and plans to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. God was with him every step of the way, providing blessings even through King Artaxerxes. There were some who didn’t want the wall to be built, and who tried everything they could think of to stop it from happening. Nehemiah refused to stop, and refused to hide. He was determined to do what God clearly wanted to use Him to accomplish. He kept his eyes on the prize, and in the end, even the opposition realized the work had been done with God’s help.
